Christoph Brueck

Christoph Brueck is an avid reader and admirer of the science fiction genre. As a kid, he read whatever book he could get his hands on. He read German classics and then read British and American ones, which inspired him a great deal.
Later, Brueck developed unparallel love for sci-fi books after reading famous science fiction writer William Gibson’s Neuromancer, Isaac Asimov’s Foundation and the works of Philip K. Dick while growing up in Germany. He had his mind blown by the imaginative world painted by these authors. In the next few years, Brueck was left astonished when he saw the signs mentioned in Gibson’s book come into existence. Cybercrime, the internet, electronic music, and mobile networks revolutionized the world before his eyes.

He became part of this journey into th future, when he started his own career as an entrepreneur in the technology space and has spend the last ten years with the development of decentralized banking, IPOs and artificial intelligence.
In the year 2020, while spending mundane days and nights quarantined in lockdown, Christoph Brueck started writing stories set in the future he has been working on. He had always wanted to be a science fiction writer, and luckily, his work was met with a positive response from his peers, colleagues and friends.
Now an established science fiction author, Christoph Brueck, says:
“I write science fiction because I consider it a valuable, interesting, and incredibly important genre. The genre of science fiction allows you to think about what is coming. It allows for experiments with your own perception. Even if not a word of what you predict comes true, the prediction itself might say more about the here and now than any subjective contemporary novel could. I embrace science fiction for what it is: an intellectual challenge of what could be, a game of predictions where you take all the history and trends and spin a world out of them that might actually come to pass.”
Brueck has also been inspired by an English science fiction writer Philip K. Dick’s Ubik. According to him, the book broadened his mind and instilled a curiosity in him to explore the dynamics of the science fiction world. He says he often starts his pitches as an entrepreneur by using quotes from Ubik.
After years of expressing strong admiration for sci-fi authors, The Daedalus Cycle series is a step forward for Christoph Brueck as a sci-fi writer himself. It’s a pulsating thriller series that will surely make Brueck’s name rise to prominence in the arena of book writing.
